VIDEO: Wizkid & The Headies – What was “The Matter”?

So, one of our favorite TV personalities, AdeSope of Factory78 has just kickstarted a new vlog/webisode series called “The Heads-Up”. On this first vlog, they take a look at The Headies and the obvious Wizkid snub, considering the fact that Wiz has arguably been the hottest act in the last 12-18 months. What are your thoughts on this?

“The most prestigious award ceremony in Nigeria “The Headies” took place on the 26th of December in Lagos and there were a lot of absentees from the winners list. The most notable and highly controversial omission was EME’s Wizkid. The StarBoy Ent CEO received little to no nominations leading to the ceremony and since the event took place, his fans, followers and Afro-pop music observers have been baffled by the snub .
