Meet
Acetune – the fastest rising Port Harcourt based singer. If you have
noticed, I left out “R&B” nor “Ragga” before the singer because he
just can’t be boxed in, I don’t even know where to place him. He is
currently studying Music at the University of Port Harcourt and you can
actually tell by the quality of music he has been dishing out. Still
striving for recognition, Acetune has put out a couple of songs that
would make the hair at the back of your neck tingle including “Overload”
and “Turn it Up” which are enjoying radio rotations in the city.
TURN IT UP: This is one song too many! This is a song that wont sound out of place when you plug your earphones at 11 pm seeking a lullaby and at the same time sound perfect when you ve had a lot to drink in the club at 12:30 am. How did he do that? I’d leave you to find out. This one was produced by Dr Roy, you might want to turn it up and hit that “repeat”. Thank Me Later!
OVERLOAD: This mid tempo smash is quite different from everything you hear in clubs & radios at the moment. He picked the right beat to show off his vocal prowess while describing his perfect African woman. Produced by his long time friend & in-house producer RichieMullah, this is a joint that would stay on your playlist for months to come…
