Nigeria Bags UN Award for Excellent Performance on MDGs

Nigeria has received United Nations' award for its excellent performance towards achieving the Millenium Development Goals (MDGs) targets, and for helping to maintain the momentum in the continent of Africa and beyond. The Regional Director, Africa, UN Millenium Campaign, Mr. Charles Abugre gave this award at the weekend in Abuja to the Senior Special Assistant to the President on MDGs (SSAP-MDGs), Mrs. Precious Gbeneol, who received it on behalf of the country.
